Forgive me, I'm new at this, and trying to figure out how to diaper a little little baby. She was born 5lbs 10 oz, and is now probably 6 lbs.

Here's an infant prefold. Ignore the bad snappi job - it was my first time EVER.

Obviously gigantic. There is quite a bit of material folded over in the front.

Here it is in my favourite cover - a minkey Jamtots berry plush. Unfortunately, it's huge on her right now. It's the smallest I have other than a preemie litewrap which won't fit over this gigantic prefold.


Now the question is if I should get some preemie prefolds or nb prefolds. (Go to green mountain diapers if you don't know what I'm talking about.) And of course, a new cover or 2 that fit under 9 lbs. Here (striped preemie) is the one I am thinking of. It says it fits until 9 lbs.

Advice??
