Hummus

1 can chickpeas
1/2 lemon (juice)
2 TBSP olive oil (or more if you need it thinner)
2-6 TBSP ground sesame seeds or sunflower seeds (opt.)
2-5 cloves garlic
salt and pepper to taste

whir it all up in a food processor until smooth. Add more oil if it won't move. My mom adds chopped up kalamata olives for fun and it's yummy. Obviously this is a throw-it-together-till-it-tastes-good recipe with amounts varried as you like. You can also add roasted red pepper or roasted garlic for something different. Someone I know uses yogurt instead of the oil. I haven't tried that yet.

My 4 yr old loves it. I like it with cucumber slices.
