Mmmmmm.... Purple Potatoes!

I did not tweek any of these photos. I swear. Aren't these potatoes lovely??
They made me think of Disposable Aardvark's all purple lunch.


This is a Shepherd's pie with Turkey cut up on the bottom layer mixed with leftover gravy. Then there were leftover carrrots and frozen peas, topped off with mashed potatoes. I think it tastes even better with mashed sweet potatoes but others in my house find that just a little too wierd.
Here is a picture of the whole thing finished and in the oven. I actually ended up pulling it out of the oven soon after that as we were invited over to the inlaws for supper. One less meal to figure out this week.
